Dale Lindemer, Safway Services National Engineering Manager, Product Applications, has been named president of the Scaffold, Shoring and Forming Institute (SSFI).
SSFI is a trade association whose members are leading manufacturers of scaffolding, suspended scaffolding, shoring, forming, planks, platforms and related components. The institute focuses on developing ANSI testing standards and promoting the safe use of its scope products.
Dale has been with Safway for over 30 years. During his career with Safway, Dale has been involved in many aspects of engineering and safety including: applications, site visits and training. Dale has been involved in many projects including: Wisconsin State Capitol, Michigan State Capitol, Statue of Freedom, Pacific Bell, Soldiers & Sailors Monument, Fernald Nuclear Weapons Facility, and the State University of New York Administration Building.
He holds numerous memberships, including National Fire Protection Association, International Code Council, and Scaffold Industry Association. Dale has served as an instructor for the Scaffold class at the OSHA Training Institute and holds a degree in Architectural Building Construction Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
